By creating an account or using the Lifestoria platform, website, or services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lifestoria provides an AI-powered platform that schedules and conducts phone interviews with individuals designated by users ("Interviewees"), records and transcribes those conversations, and delivers transcripts, audio recordings, and AI-generated summaries to the subscribing user ("Member").

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Lifestoria account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for ensuring that any Interviewee you add to your account consents to being contacted and interviewed by Lifestoria.

4. Member Responsibilities

As a Lifestoria Member, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account and Interviewee profiles
• Obtain consent from any Interviewee before scheduling an interview on their behalf
• Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or misuse any part of the Service

5. Consent and Recording

By scheduling an interview through Lifestoria, you confirm that the Interviewee has been informed that the conversation will be conducted by an AI, recorded, and transcribed. Lifestoria is not responsible for obtaining this consent — that responsibility rests with you as the Member.

6. Intellectual Property

All content generated through the Service — including transcripts, audio recordings, and story summaries — is owned by you and your designated family members. Lifestoria retains no ownership rights over your family's stories.

Lifestoria's platform, technology, brand, and design are owned by Lifestoria and may not be reproduced without written permission.

7. Subscription and Payment

Lifestoria is offered as a paid subscription service. Pricing, billing frequency, and cancellation terms are described on our Pricing page. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

8. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will continue until the end of your current billing period. Lifestoria reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." Lifestoria makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-generated transcripts or summaries. Interview quality may vary depending on audio conditions, language, and connection quality.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lifestoria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
