Yes. You can pause at any time from your account settings. All your recordings, transcripts, and story chapters are preserved exactly as they are. Nothing is deleted during a pause.
From your account dashboard, go to Family Access and invite any family member by email. They'll receive a link to create a free listener account. You control who has access and can revoke it at any time.
Never. Your family's conversations, recordings, and transcripts are private and will never be used to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's. Your stories exist solely for your family. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes. Before you cancel, you can download all your recordings (MP3), transcripts (PDF), and the full story archive. Your content is yours to keep regardless of your subscription status.
Our AI interviewer speaks clearly and at a measured pace, and can repeat or rephrase questions naturally when asked. Many families use Lifestoria successfully with loved ones who have mild to moderate hearing difficulties. Contact us and we'll advise based on your specific situation.
You set everything up — choose the plan, enter your loved one's phone number and preferences, and select when the first call should happen. They just answer the phone. You can also purchase a gift card through our Gift Lifestoria page.
